At Desert Rain we feel strongly that EVERYONE should be able to get the care they need. That is why both our Fee for Service and Membership rates are so reasonable. With our membership, a single person can get naturopathic and acupuncture care for only $135 per month and a family of 4 for only $315 per month. These prices are a fraction of the cost of conventional medical care and they allow us to give YOU the best care possible.
We do not accept insurance at Desert Rain Naturopathic Clinic. Unfortunately, the majority of naturopathic care isn’t covered under insurance in the state of Arizona. In addition, we feel that the current medical model is more focused on managing illness than providing care that can prevent and treat disease. We believe that you should be able to pick your doctors without restriction which is yet another reason we feel strongly about offering affordable care. Instead of being a part of the problem, we are trying to contribute to a solution.
The projected average cost of medical insurance for a single person, living in Arizona, in 2020 is $442 per month. Even with a significant subsidy the cost will be around $200/ month for a single individual. The average cost for a family of 4 is around $1200 per month! These figures are not including the often steep deductible and any co-pays that you man be required to pay out of pocket. One visit to urgent care could cost you more out of pocket than an entire year of care with Desert Rain Naturopathic Clinic. We know that unexpected trips to the doctor can cause significant financial distress and we are committed to providing affordable medical care for you and your family.
While we do not accept insurance, we can provide you with a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
It is important to note that our membership model is not a replacement for insurance, and does not afford any coverage for medical costs outside of the membership agreement.
